Success Story: How Mayoral Tripled Its Trade Fair Contacts

Mayoral, the leading Spanish childrenswear brand, came to Stand-Out with a clear objective: to maximise impact at the FIMI fair in Valencia while transmitting the values of quality, warmth and international ambition of their brand. The result exceeded all forecasts.

The challenge: standing out in a saturated sector

The childrenswear sector at trade fairs is highly competitive, with many exhibitors offering visually similar stands. Mayoral needed a space that communicated premium quality, was practical for product display across multiple collections, and created a welcoming environment for both buyers and press.

The design solution

We designed a stand of over 200 m2 with three clearly differentiated zones: a main display area with modular shelving that allowed flexible arrangement of the different product lines, a central lounge area for meetings with buyers, and a press zone with controlled lighting for product photography.

The brand's warm colour palette — earthy tones and natural wood — was used as the structural basis of the design, reinforcing visual consistency between the stand and the collections on display. Signage at height ensured visibility from across the hall.

Comprehensive management: from design to dismantling

Stand-Out handled the entire process: preliminary design, 3D renders, construction, transport, installation at the venue and dismantling. Mayoral's team only had to worry about one thing: their clients. This comprehensive approach, coordinated entirely by Stand-Out, eliminated last-minute logistical problems that so often affect fair results.

Results

At the close of the fair, Mayoral's commercial team recorded a 40% increase in visitor traffic compared to the previous edition, a tripling of high-value meetings with buyers, and significant press coverage that extended the impact of their participation beyond the fair itself.

The stand was also designed to be partially reusable at subsequent editions, significantly reducing the cost per use over time.
