⚠ Important notice: This document is a general-purpose template provided for informational purposes only. It does not constitute legal advice or a substitute for professional consultation. STUDIOSMIT, S.L. recommends that this document be reviewed and adapted with the assistance of a qualified lawyer or Data Protection Officer (DPO) before final publication. The cookie list must be updated regularly to reflect actual changes to the website.
1. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files that websites store on the user's device (computer, mobile phone, tablet) when they visit a page. They allow the website to remember information about the visit, recognise the user on subsequent visits and improve the browsing experience.
In addition to cookies, similar technologies may be used such as tracking pixels, web beacons, device identifiers, local storage (localStorage) and session storage (sessionStorage). For the purposes of this policy, the term "cookies" refers to all such technologies.
In compliance with Spanish Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSICE), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, EU 2016/679), Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD) and the AEPD Cookie Guide (updated May 2024), STUDIOSMIT, S.L. provides the following information about the cookies used on the website https://stand-out.es and how they can be managed.
2. Classification of cookies used
2.1 By consent requirement
- Consent-exempt cookies (technical/essential): necessary for the proper functioning of the website. Their installation does not require prior user consent, although users must be informed of their existence.
- Cookies requiring prior consent: all others (preference, analytics, marketing/advertising). These are not installed until the user grants consent through the cookie management panel.

3. Cookie banner and consent management
In accordance with the AEPD Cookie Guide (May 2024) and the guidelines of the European Data Protection Board (EDPB), STUDIOSMIT, S.L. implements a Cookie Consent Management Platform (CMP) with the following features:
- Free, specific, informed and unambiguous consent: users grant consent actively through a clear affirmative action (clicking "Accept all" or making a granular category selection). No options are pre-ticked for non-essential cookies.
- Granularity: users can accept or reject cookies by category (analytics, marketing, social media) independently for each category.
- Equivalent access: rejecting non-essential cookies is as straightforward as accepting them. No cookie walls are applied that would deny access to the website without accepting non-essential cookies, in line with EDPB guidelines.
- Withdrawal of consent: users can modify or withdraw their consent at any time by accessing the cookie management panel via the "Manage cookies" link in the footer or through this Cookie Policy.
- Consent records: STUDIOSMIT, S.L. maintains a record of consents granted (proof of consent), including when consent was given, which banner version was displayed and which categories were accepted.
- Consent renewal: consent is requested again 12 months after it was granted, or sooner if material changes are made to cookie usage.
Implementation of a certified and auditable CMP solution is recommended, such as Cookiebot (Cybot A/S), Usercentrics, OneTrust or equivalent, enabling granular consent management and auditable records in line with AEPD and EDPB requirements.
